Hi there! My name is Stella Parks, a 28 year old corporate slave with an inner desire to go to work in my pajamas with no makeup on.

This is my blog, created especially for mums.

What is the reason, you may wonder.

Well, my family photos from days long gone are filled with happy faces, lots of smiles and laughter, just like a picture made for a Hallmark card…but one thing (or person) was always missing in those photos; my dearest Mummy. 

My mum is a single parent and for most of my childhood, she had to work long hours at the office to raise my two sisters and I. I am very lucky indeed as Mummy provided me and my sisters with everything we need and little luxuries on top of that. But she did miss out on many precious little moments and as much as I wished she was there to experience it together with us, I am sure she wishes it even more.

If only my mom had the opportunity (or awareness?) to work at home, then growing up would definitely have been even more fun!

So now that I am a grown woman and soon to become Mrs. Jake Atkins, I am wanting to start my own home business once little Atkins start to fill up our home. This blog is for me to share and exchange my own research, thoughts, insights, tips (and more?) on working at home with mums everywhere. I hope this blog will inspire working mums to ditch their careers for a much more meaningful role of full-time mum/part-time money-making machine.

This is only my first post but my desire to work in my pajamas with no makeup on already seems much more within grasps
